The “UrbanVisions” International Youth Forum has started. 🤩

📣 With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the partnership of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, and the organization of NAYORA, the “UrbanVisions” International Youth Forum has begun. 🤩
The opening of the forum was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Acting Executive Director of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan Gadir Khalilov, Chairman of NAYORA Rafael Hajibeyli, and Deputy Head of the Department of Urban Planning and Territorial Development of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Shahnaz Badalova.
In their speeches, they touched upon the importance of sustainable and ecological urban planning, social inclusion, the application of innovative technologies, and increasing the activity of youth in the field of urban planning. It was noted that such events are an important platform for young people's creative ideas to contribute to society.
After the opening ceremony, the forum continued with a panel discussion. Aytaj Alisultanli, Deputy Head of the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Baku City Architecture and Urban Planning Main Department under the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Ilgar Manafsoy, Founder and Chief Architect of the “MANARCH” Architectural Bureau, Togrul Bayramov, Co-Founder and Chief Architect of the “Muhit” Architectural Bureau, and Nikolay Novikov, General Director of the “Urban Architects” Department of ARPO Urban Reconstruction, participated in the panel discussion as experts.
The discussions covered the latest approaches in the field of urban planning, the integration of ecological and social aspects, as well as the impact of the application of new technologies on urban design. The experts shared their experience and perspectives with the participants.
Then, the participants inspected two areas selected by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and began project preparations for these areas.
The forum will continue until December 8.
