The free legal aid service is being implemented with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the partnership of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the joint organization of ELSA Azerbaijan and “ProDemos - For the People”.

The free legal aid service is being implemented with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the partnership of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Council of Youth Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the joint organization of ELSA Azerbaijan and “ProDemos - For the People”.

📌 Within the framework of the service, citizens' questions are answered in a visible and free manner in legal institutions with the participation of members of the Bar Association, and support is provided for their representation in court at the expense of the state in cases provided for by legislation. To do this, it is enough to apply to the project by filling out the appropriate questionnaire on the website of the “ProDemos-For the People” project (prodemos.az).

📌The following are included in the category of persons entitled to free legal aid:

- Persons who have been diagnosed with a disability due to a 61-100 percent impairment of the functions of the body (i.e., with a 1st or 2nd degree disability) and are unemployed;

- Persons who have been diagnosed with a disability under the age of 18;

- Victims of human trafficking;

- Victims of domestic violence;

- Children who have lost a parent;

- Children deprived of parental care;

- Members of families receiving targeted state social assistance;

- Persons registered as unemployed;

- Other persons whose financial situation is significantly lower than the subsistence minimum (270 manats for the country, 287 manats for the working population, 222 manats for pensioners, 235 manats for children) and this situation is assessed by the court.
