The "World of Children and Student Youth" Public Union of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established on June 25, 2002, and registered on November 5, 2002. The Union creates connections with government bodies and other organizations within the framework of the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan to address the problems of children and youth from families of martyrs, refugees, internally displaced persons, the disabled, orphaned children (those who have lost one or both parents), children from orphanages, and low-income families, and organizes joint humanitarian activities. Currently, the number of members of the union exceeds 2,000. Our society seeks out and reveals talented children, organizes various competitions among young people, and rewards the winners. Since 2002, the union has organized events on important calendar dates, such as Heydar Aliyev’s birthday, International Children's Protection Day on June 1, World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, New Year, International Women's Day on March 8, and Novruz holiday, setting up tables for children and giving various gifts. The organization operates in 8 regional branches and has carried out over 200 events and projects over the years.
