"Azerbaijan Volunteers" Public Union (AVPU) is a non-governmental organization established in November 2000 and registered in August 2003. The purpose of the establishment of AVPU is to develop the work of volunteers in Azerbaijan, help solve social problems and improve the well-being of vulnerable populations. AVPU creates all conditions for providing invaluable benevolent assistance to vulnerable people at all levels of society with the help of young volunteers; promotes the democratization process in Azerbaijan by educating about human rights in various regions and settlements of the country.
