The "Azerbaijan Students" Union was established on September 15, 2008. It was officially registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on December 24, 2008. The main goal of the establishment of the Union is to increase the role of students in the development of civil society. ATB unites all students regardless of race, gender, nationality and religion. The Union defends the educational, social, cultural and economic interests of students. The "Azerbaijan Students" Union is the authorized representative of the international student organization IAESTE in Azerbaijan.
